Vinjerac is a small picturesque Dalmatian town situated in the Velebit canal, conveniently situated only about 30 km North of the largest city in the region, Zadar; it is also only a few minute drive to Maslenica and Posedarje, the two entrances to the Zagreb-Split highway. Vinjerac is surrounded by most of the Croatian National parks and nature parks, such as Paklenica (only 8km), Kornati archipelago (40 km), Plitvice lakes (80km), Krka (80km) and Zrmanja waterfalls (25km).
